Current Junior Tales

Junior Fundraising Projects …

1. We are currently ordering Class of 2018 T-shirts.  These will arrive next Thursday, 3/9/17.  We will open up sales of the shirts for  $15.00, to the students and parents that ordered shirts.  After 2 days, the sale will be open to anyone.  Extra shirts were ordered and those will be available for $15.00 each, first come, first serve.

(For the Thursday and Friday before

   spring break, students who ordered

shirts, only can pick those up…after

Friday at 3:55pm, the shirts will be

   available, first come-first serve.)

2. Once we open up the sale for shirts, we will also start accepting the donations.  Each student is asked to donate $10, if they are able .  Many fund-raisers send part of the money to some company and you may feel pressured to buy something you may not even want, or something overpriced.  This way, 100% of the money goes to help your favorite junior, and the class of 2018.

Junior Nights on the Town….

We will have nights on the town for juniors.  Chipotle’s has committed to donate 50% of the proceeds to the class of 2018, for a portion of the afternoon on March 29th.  More details will come, but all you need to do is attend Chipotle’s that afternoon/night and tell them you are there for the class.

We will keep a point system for donations, shirts, participation in projects, and donated time.  1 point for each $10 dollars donated, 1point for shirt purchase, 1 point for attending the junior night out at local restaurants, etc.  The student will need to keep proof of participation for the night out on the town and present that to Mr. Anderson.  The junior(s) with the most points will be recognized, and/or presented with an award.

We are also selling popcorn, starting next week.

Prom News….

Prom will be at the Schertz Civic Center on April 29th.  Ticket pre-sales will start the week after spring break.  Pre-sale tickets will be $50.  The theme is masquerade and the colors are purple, lavender, and gold trim.  More information will come soon.

Rex’s Formal Wear has given a discount card for $50 dollars off of tux rental.  See Mr. Anderson to get a discount card.
